Meet Clark

With over 28 years of experience, Clark has helped clients of all ages, financial histories, and concerns pursue their goals and work towards financial confidence and fulfillment. Juggling the various pieces of your wealth can feel difficult and overwhelming, especially in an industry that’s ever changing. Clark helps clients understand that money doesn’t have to be complicated. His passion is to help people organize and simplify their financial life, so they focus on the things that matter most to them.

This industry is about a lot more than money to Clark – he cares about understanding his clients’ story and getting to know their “why”. Clark believes in the importance of transparent, straight-forward communication and uses common language and analogies that people can easily comprehend. Clark helps clients define and understand their goals, then builds a roadmap with clear action steps to help them pursue those goals. Doing what’s in his client’s best interest is always front of mind for Clark. His quest and being a fiduciary show that he wants to do what is right, for the right reasons, at the right time. You can also find Clark continuously studying, reading, and furthering his knowledge to stay current and best advise his clients.

Clark grew up in Idaho and Utah and attended Brigham Young University where he majored in Political Science and minored in Economics, Spanish, and Finance. In his mid-twenties, Clark originally thought his future would be in medicine, law, or the military; however, after discovering his natural ability with numbers and leadership, he decided to pursue a career in financial planning. Clark has always dedicated himself to furthering his education and become educated in the industry. He obtained the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation, then set out on his own to affiliate and connect with the best firms and people in the industry. Along the way, he founded Financial Management, Inc. in 1997 and has enjoyed every minute of the company’s growth and progression throughout the years. Members of the community know Clark from his radio show and through attending his seminars geared towards informing and help educating people on how they can feel informed regarding their financial health! Clark is a member of the American Society of Financial Service Professionals, the Yakima Estate Planning Council, the Financial Planning Association, and the American Institute of Certified Financial Planners.

Clark, his wife Tanya, and their four children love being an active family and going on trips together. Watching his children be the best of friends and grow into the adults they are today brings Clark great joy. To him, there is no title greater than being a husband and father. Clark is also passionate about his faith and enjoys the opportunity to worship and serve alongside his family, friends, and neighbors.

In his spare time, you can find Clark in the shop working on anything with a motor, or outdoors enjoying them! He loves the mountains in the winter and is often caught saying “Pray for snow!” from November to March. He has enjoyed spending many years serving as a member of the National Ski Patrol, and now loves to spend his weekends enjoying his favorite hobby – snowmobiling with family and friends! Regardless of the season, Clark always enjoys the many pristine places that the Pacific Northwest has to offer. He also loves working in the yard and having a lot of fun tools that assist him with that! Since he was a young boy, his farmer father and horticulturalist/master gardener mother taught him to love making beauty outside the home.
