Community Involvement

Our commitment to service also extends into our communities.

Financial Management is deeply rooted in the communities we reside in and serve. We believe that investing time and resources in our community is a great way to give back, and it’s something we strive to make part of our culture. Here are some of the causes we are passionate about:

Boy Scouts of America
The mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law. In by example and encouraging each other to live by these values, they welcome families of all backgrounds to help prepare young people to serve as successful members and leaders of our nation’s increasingly diverse communities.

Yakima Humane Society
The Humane Society of Central Washington, SPCA is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to serving and protecting the animals of Yakima County. Our mission is to end animal suffering and cruelty, reduce animal overpopulation, and educate the public regarding responsible pet ownership while promoting community kindness and commitment to their welfare. We practice and promote the Humane treatment of animals through animal control services, pet adoption, education, information, referral, and quality animal care.

West Valley Dollars for Scholars
Since 1994, the West Valley Dollars for Scholars Foundation has been dedicated to raising money with the express purpose of awarding scholarships to graduating seniors. It is our intent not only to assist the recipients in furthering their education beyond high school, but it is also an opportunity to acknowledge the hard work and dedication they have demonstrated in achieving success. West Valley Dollars for Scholars is an affiliate of Scholarship America, which provides information, training, and operational structure to local chapters. Scholarship America has over 400 collegiate partners throughout the United States, some of which match local grants.
Warehouse Theatre Company
The mission of the Warehouse Theatre Company is to engage, enrich and encourage our community through shared experiences in theatre arts. They believe that shared experiences in theatre arts are vital to the cultural life of our community. As Yakima’s community theatre, WTC has enjoyed a well-earned reputation for professional-quality musicals, comedies, and dramatic performances for over six decades.
Three Rivers Community Foundation
The Three Rivers Community Foundation is a partnership of donors, nonprofit organizations, and the community working together to strengthen our region and find solutions to the pressing needs of the greater Tri-Cities area. They serve as a conduit between the donor and the nonprofit. They are a unique philanthropic entity concerned with the entire Tri-Cities community and its social, cultural, medical, environmental, educational, and civic needs. For over 20 years they have connected individuals with the issues they care about and provided them with support and inspiration to give effectively and improve our community.
Voice for Children
The Voices for Children Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to enriching the lives of abused and neglected children in the foster care system throughout the Yakima Valley. They seek to address the critical need in our community to protect these children and help them regain a sense of value and respect, to empower them for their future. The Voices for Children Foundation aspires to help meet some of the most basic needs of children in Yakima County’s dependency system. Through their community partners, clothing programs, CASA volunteers, the Buddy Bags Project, and the Wishes and Needs Fund, volunteers can provide for children whose lives have been turned upside down.
